You just need to find someone who actually was in the trials back in the year 2000 to get your real doctor. Don’t listen to this doctor. Tell you a bunch of BS, that is simply not true! Thank you and for 1,000,000% Dr. Ziegler was my doctor in Germany. If you get a bad intervertebral disc, it’s because you have a bad doctor go to the best to get the best. Ask questions ask questions don’t just say yes ask the major question, how many surgeries have you done and what are your slip rates. I suggest if you’re in Texas or able to get to Texas the Texas back institute is one of the best hospitals for inner brailed discs thank you.

Dr Deuk's unique permanent procedure fix rather than going through the typical temporary and short term relief would be my first choice. The non invasive procedure to me would definitely be a major benefit.

Would it not make sense to also use the pincers like Dr. Mork and Dr. Kim use to go in there and pull out all the fragments instead of only using the laser? They both use the laser too to do everything you do but they also pull out all the fragments. Why not do the total approach?

Im definitely nervous about this. My pain management doc whos seen me twice for a total of about 3 min said this is what they can do for me. It'll be in my cervical spine in a month and i wasn't even asked if it was something i was willing to do but they made it clear that they won't offer any other solutions unless i do it. Not looking forward to it. How can i trust someone whom ive met for 3 minutes to jam needles in my spine? Lol

My thing with Spinal fusion is, my Orthopedic doctor said that once it’s done on my L5-S1, my L4-L5 will start taking all the pressure… and then what that disc goes and gets fused my L3-L4 will start taking all the pressure.. so on and so forth.. As of right now the only disc that has a problem is my L5-S1, moderate degeneration, moderate herniation that’s slightly worse on the left side. I’m 21. This happened due to wear and tear NOT a single accident or incident.. just 10 years of dance and 6 years of hard labor. What do you think Doc?

Could you please let me know how many days after the surgery that you didn't have anymore tingling ?

I have been looking for any actual injury evidence, malpractice, etc. as the result of the y-strap adjustment, which has been around since the 70s, and the Ring Dinger, which has been around since the 80s. Not one. Will look through these comments but it would be good to see some.

I had lumbar spinal fusion L5-S1 on May 21, 2024. I am 64 years and I had three back surgeries when I was 12 years old. I've been dealing with back issues for a long time, but I started having tremendous hip problems which led to having my left hip replaced in July 2022, and my right hip replaced in May 2023. I will say that recovery from the hip replacement surgeries was a piece of cake compared to recovery from the spinal fusion. I'm up and around although I haven't started driving. I'm still using a cane because I have tremendous hip pain. My right hip aches almost as bad as it did prior to the hip replacement, It is improving some, but it is painful when I lay down and I need my cane to help stabilize myself when standing up. My left hip is beginning to hurt as well. I fell on my right side about a week after surgery and had a CT scan to make sure everything was okay. It was. There was no damage. I'm aware that the hip pain is normal after fusion surgery but I'm concerned about any possible problems with the hip implants. I have about month before my next visit with the neurosurgeon. I plan to discuss all of this with him. I've been looking online for information about spinal fusion and hip replacement relationship. I've only seen that hip replacements can fail after spinal fusion surgery. Of course, I don't want this to happen. To make matters worse, I've been diagnosed with something called arachnoiditis which is a chronic inflammation of the arachnid which is one of the layers of tissue that cover the spinal cord. I've no idea how this plays into my situation. If anyone has heard of anything about a situation similar to mine, please respond. On a different note, I hallucinating very badly after surgery when I went home. I was on a lot of medication, and I firmly believe that the combination of oxycodone and flexiril (muscle relaxer) sent me over the edge. My doctor admitted that the muscle relaxer could cause hallucinations, and he prescribed a different relaxer that is not a problem. Thank you for reading my story!

He's comparing the Y strap to hanging how stupid is that. Hanging is around the neck. The Y strap is around underneath the occiput and pulling in the y-axis. Name one injury that has been caused by the Y strap adjustment? Another lazy MD watching and making a useless comment without investigating the clinical results. Maybe they should just stick to what they do since they don't have the brains to critically evaluate other health professionals!

Hi Dr, is it possible to just perform cervical central canal stenosis surgery and no disc surgery? Would you still have to go through to the back of the disc making a hole? And is the central canal stenosis mostly overgrowth of tissue and bone spurs that need to be cleaned out? My understanding is that the ligaments in front and behind the spinal cord become thickened but cannot be taken out as the spine needs them for functioning.

Anyone having an implant, anywhere is the body, needs to be aware that: a) They can have major and potentially catastrophic complications, and, b) If you live long enough, they wiill inevitably fail.

is his procedure covered by insurance? NO! i spoke with one spine surgeon about it as i had 3 herniated lumbar discs. he told me the failure rate on these procedures was 50% so insurance companies stopped paying for them. i am 3 weeks out from an L3,L4,L5 laminectomy and microdiscectomy. i was walking the next day with out pain for the first time in 5 years. i had knee pain and right leg pain. i have to learn how to walk properly again, but damn me it was worth it! 3 months I had Dr Deuk fix my artificial disc from 22 years ago. Over time it slipped 1/2 way out ! Other Drs argued with me that it was put incorrectly! It was not. It was lined up perfectly! They seem to move over time !

Well I had a disc herniation Fromm a bad car accident. The pain was suicidal for 7 years. Mds gave me opioids and gaba pentin. MRI showed disc hitting nerves. The only option that neurologists gave me was surgery I saw dr Gregory Johnson 4 times and it cured me and my mri showed minor disc bulges This guy has no idea what he’s talking about. And obviously ha not has a true injury. His only options is drugs and surgery. Sad he giving such misinformation when it was my hope. And I’ve never has the issues again. If I would have listened to a guy like this I would still be partially disabled.

What happens if the disc degeneration is so bad that the bone is hitting the bone? Would that be causing pain in addition to the herniated discs?

Are they deadening the patient from the waist down with a spinal block for the surgery while they’re awake?? Is the patient ever put asleep???

is there a pernament solution for facet joint pain? im in debilitating pain from the facet joint and cant find a study that has any solution to fix this problem but injections /RFA
